Certified CA Bred: County Fair & Festival Recognitions

Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Market Hog exhibitors are eligible to receive Certified California Bred Program (CCBP) recognition and awards if their market hog is from a registered CCBP breeder.

Steps to Submit Your Champion:

1. Confirm Your Breeder is Registered: Verify that your champion market hog was purchased from a registered 2026 Certified California Bred breeder by checking the breeder directory at: https://certifiedcabred.com/breeder-directory/

2. Complete the Champion Submission Form: Fill out the official CCBP County Fair & Festival Champion Submission Form in full: Download Here

Once completed, submit the form along with your champion backdrop photo to: Mackenzie@calpork.com

Important Reminders:

• Exhibitors must be a paid California Pork Producers Association (CPPA) member by July 1 to be eligible for awards and recognition.

• The CCBP Champion Submission Form must be completed in full.

• CPPA staff will verify that the market hog was properly registered by the breeder in the Certified California Bred Program.

• CCBP County Fair & Festival winners will be:

  • Recognized on CPPA and Certified California Bred social media

  • Featured on the Certified California Bred website

  • Presented with awards during the CPPA Annual Meeting in the fall
