The California Pork Producers Association (CPPA) is proud to announce the selection of five outstanding young leaders to serve on the CPPA Junior Director Board. These individuals represent the next generation of agricultural advocates and will play a vital role in promoting California’s pork industry while gaining valuable leadership experience.
The newly selected Junior Directors are:
Madelynn Gardner, San Miguel, CA
Gauge Goehring, Acampo, CA
Weston Merriman, Alpine, CA
Morissa Ralls, Patterson, CA
Gracie Schnoor, Chowchilla, CA
These five will join the current set of Junior Directors who are entering their second year of service: Charli Auldridge, Lillie Benafield, Harlie Deschaine, Cooper Dougherty, Jenna Freitas, Diego Loftin, Kallie Loogman, Riley Piehl, Parker Simon, Adeline Pombo, and Gracie Yost. Together, this team brings a diverse mix of backgrounds, experiences, and enthusiasm to CPPA’s youth leadership efforts.
The CPPA Junior Director Program is a two-year leadership opportunity designed to help youth expand their industry knowledge, strengthen communication skills, and engage with producers, industry partners, and policymakers. Throughout the year, Junior Directors will represent CPPA at industry and agricultural events, including the NJSA Western Regional Show, California FFA State Leadership Conference, Ag Day at the Capitol, and numerous state and county fairs.
“We are excited to welcome Madelynn, Guage, Weston, Morissa, and Gracie to the Junior Director team,” said Mackenzie Bressler, Executive Director. “With the returning leadership of our second-year directors, we know this year’s board will accomplish great things for California’s pork industry.”
By joining the Junior Director Board, these students will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders, contribute to CPPA initiatives, and serve as ambassadors for the pork industry across the state.
